Continuing professional development and Inset days

Raising awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity

Play workers, teachers, youth workers, learning support assistants, nursery nurses and other early years practitioners can gain new, practical craft skills by attending our creativity training workshops

Schools enrichment programmes

Activities specially mapped to the National Curriculum framework.

An interactive approach and attractive resources and materials are used to boost children’s performance and confidence at school.

From Key Stage 1-to KS4, we support effective learning by linking themes and concepts and translating these into creative, cross-curricula projects.

Activities designed to raise  attainment and self-esteem

Colleges

Programmes  suited to the needs of individuals and small groups for whom a mainstream college place is not appropriate or desirable.

Young people’s services

Delivering the Alternative Curriculum  to engage year 10 and 11 students.

Diverting children and Young People away from underachievement

Re-engaing school non-attenders and those 'at risk' of offending.

Workshops are a useful vehicle for exploring personal, social and health education (PSHE) issues. The visual medium of communication is particularly relevant to young people who find written and oral forms of expression a challenge.

Community groups

Regeneration and neighbourhood renewal projects.

We have been successful in delivering workshops for The Youth Education Service; Black & Ethnic Minority (BME) led groups, teenage parents’ projects, Woodcraft Folk and different faith groups.

Corporate businesses

We  provide competitive team building exercises for staff, built around co-operative principles and 'make-it'  challenges with a difference.

These are fun experiences which enable participants to feel valued and rewarded.

Activities are designed to improve staff morale and performance by recognising employee’s achievements.

Private commissions

Themed celebrations, festivals, family fun days, international days and individual birthday parties are catered for.

Quality assurance

Ace CraftWorks celebrates diversity and supports inclusion by making our workshops relevant and accessible to all.

We use good quality resources which draw upon global influences, techniques and materials.
